Kenyan police are looking for a Tanzanian national who allegedly stabbed a colleague at a gold-mining site in Narok over a bowl of ugali.
The two men were having supper after a long day at the Got Kabong mines in Transmara West on Thursday, according to Narok County Police Commander Kizito Mutoro.
According to the Police Commander, It was reported that an argument ensued between Mr Mungare Busene, 27, and another only identified Magige, 23, (both Tanzanians) over the ugali they were eating.
Mr Busene is thought to have picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed Mr Magige in the left leg, causing a serious deep injury. While undergoing treatment, the victim was pronounced dead.
The suspect fled the scene of the attack.The victim’s body was taken to the mortuary at the same hospital.
