President William Ruto has made additional appointments within the ranks of the Executive Office of the President.
In a statement issued by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, said the team will support the President in the implementation of his vision for Kenya as espoused in the Kenya Kwanza Plan.
“As set out in Executive Order No. 1 of 2022, on the Organization of Government of Kenya, the executive office of the President comprises the Office of the President, the Office of the Deputy President, and the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary
“In that regard, it is hereby noted that President William Ruto has today caused additional appointments within the ranks of the Executive Office of the President as follows,”  read the statement in part.
The five new appointees include Reuben Maiyo who has been appointed as Private Secretary to the President, George Ng’ong’a Macgoye (Chief of Staff to the Deputy President), Paul Muraya Mwangi Guare (Head of Communication Services, Office of the Deputy President), Emmanuel Talam (Press Secretary, Presidential Communication Service) and Njeri Rugane (Head of Communication Services, Office of the Deputy President).
The appointments came days after Ruto appointed members of his team including Felix Koskei, who was named Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service.
