6th Witness Testifies On Brutal Eshikati Murder

The office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions presented its 6th witness in a murder case where Abass Aden murdered his neighbor Eshikati.

According to Samuel Mushilile, Eshikati was responding to a distress call from his neighbor Peter Nyakundi at Saika Estate Nairobi when he met his gruesome death.

Mushilile further testified that he witnessed armed men slashing banana, avocado, and mango trees on Nyakundi’s farm, he, later on, heard screams and noticed that the deceased had been stabbed.

The court heard that Nyakundi was in a land border dispute with Abass Aden, and Eshikati was attempting to intervene. Eshikati died on the way to the hospital.

The prosecution team, consisting of SPPC Esther Kimani and Mercy Njoroge, has seven more witnesses lined up for the case. Hearings will resume on November 28, 2022.
