Kitui governor Dr Julius Makau Malombe has been requested to include a minister from Tharaka in his cabinet.
Speaking to journalists in Kitui,Tharaka MCA Muthengi Ndagara says the minority community from his ward has not been getting development from the previous administration.
Ndagara has also requested governor Malombe to support the residents of Kitui by giving them relief and get a permanent solution of eliminating drought experienced since they are ready to pass the supplementary budget, insisting on the importance of supplying schools with food since school going kids have been highly affected.
Ndagara has insisted the need of Kitui county government to support the farmers to get seedlings during the rainy season since most farmers cannot afford.
Malombe is expected to name his cabinet by the end of this week.
