Precision Air Crashes Into Lake Victoria

TBC said that rescue boats had been launched and that emergency personnel were continuing to rescue more people trapped in the jet.

A Precision Air jet from Tanzania has crashed into Lake Victoria.

According to Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC), the passenger jet left Dar es Salaam on Sunday morning, its route to Bukoba via Mwanza.

According to TBC, the collision was caused by heavy rain and high winds.

Bukoba Airport is located on the banks of Lake Victoria, Africa’s biggest body of water.

TBC said that rescue boats had been launched and that emergency personnel were continuing to rescue more people trapped in the jet.
