UDA National Elections Board Chair Anthony Mwaura was sworn in as Kenya Revenue Authority Chairperson on Thursday morning.
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Supreme Court building, was presided over by Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Paul Maina, with the Oath administered by Registrar Magistrates Court Peter Mulwa.

For a three-year term, President William Ruto appointed Anthony Ng’ang’a Mwaura to the position of KRA Chairperson.
The remaining board members are expected to be appointed by Treasury CS Njuguna Ndungu.
Mwaura succeeds Francis Muthaura, who was appointed as Head of Civil Servants by retired President Uhuru Kenyatta in October 2019. Muthaura’s term was set to expire in May of next year after being renewed for the second time in 2020.
