The High Court will on 29 Nov 2022 hear the EACC suit seeking recovery of over Ksh 84M suspected proceeds of corruption from former Samburu Governor Moses Kasaine Lenolkulal.
He is accused of engaging in a conflict of interest by trading with Samburu County Government.
The former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal is charged together with 10 others with the offense of corruption leading to a loss of Sh84,695,996.55 through Oryx Service Station for the supply of fuel to the Samburu County government.
It is alleged they committed the offense between March 27, 2013, and March 25, 2019, at Maralal town.
The case comes after the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions unsuccessfully attempted to withdraw graft charges against Lenolkulal.
