Kisii County police have launched a manhunt for a woman who reportedly abused her husband and nearly severed his genitalia.
The event occurred in Nyanchwa Estate, according to Kitutu Chache South police commander Mr. Anthony Keter, and the woman ran immediately, leaving the man to die inside his house.
“Efforts are being made to locate the suspect; we have been informed that the woman was not present when the man was rescued by locals,” the police chief stated.
According to a sleuth with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) who is aware of the ongoing investigations, the woman reached out to the man’s family in an attempt to resolve the situation without the participation of the authorities.
The tragedy occurred barely three days after a woman named Ms Alice Kamunde was murdered in cold blood at her home in Mosocho’s Gesieka neighborhood, Kitutu Chache South Sub-County.
Villagers discovered Ms Kamunde’s blood-soaked body sprawled on the floor of their house’s bedroom on Thursday morning.
Mr Christopher Gisiora, the suspect, was apprehended and is currently assisting police with their investigations.
Ms Kamunde was 68 years old, and her husband was 70.
