The Inspector General of the National Police Service Japhet Koome held a meeting with the United States Embassy delegation led by Mr.Nicolas Keefe, the Acting Regional Director in the Diplomatic Security High Threat Programs.
The Directorate is responsible for security and law enforcement operations at the Department of State’s high-threat, high-risk overseas missions in Africa.
During the meeting held at NPS Headquarters, Nairobi, the two leaders appreciated the continued good relations between the two countries, especially the partnership in training NPS Officers both locally and in the United States, and collaboration in the provision of security.
Mr. Keefe was accompanied by Mr. Patrick Mills Senior Regional Security, Prestina D. Williams, Deputy Regional Security Officer and Noberts Odol, US Embassy Nairobi Security.
Also present were the Director of Human Capital Development and Administration/ Senior Assistant Inspector General, Ms. Rosemary Kuraru, and the Director of Corporate Communication/ Spokesperson, Dr. Resila Onyango.
