A 21-year-old street boy was stabbed to death on Saturday night by his colleague during a fight over a hat at the Kisumu bus park.
The deceased was stabbed twice in the chest and died instantly, according to Town Chief Willis Onyona, who confirmed the tragedy.
According to Onyona, the suspect, who is well-known in the area, fled immediately after the incident.
He also stated that police are closing in on his location in order to apprehend him and bring him to justice.
According to witnesses, the pair, who do manual labour such as washing vehicles at the buspark, had a disagreement over ownership of a cap.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body was moved to the Jaramogi Onginga Odinga Funeral Home.
