Dj Brownskin Alias Michael Macharia Njiiri has been charged with aiding the suicide of his wife Sharon Njeri Mwangi on July 29, 2022 contrary to section 225 of the penal code.
Dj Brownskin was also charged of failing to use all reasonable force to prevent his wife from committing suicide although he had knowledge that she was planning to commit suicide.
Further, he was charged with destroying suicidal evidence from his phone on June 1,2023 having Knowledge that the said evidence would be required in judicial proceedings.
The DJ denied all the charges and has been detained until June 15, 2023 when the court will give determination as to his release on bond or bail.
