Senate Ad Hoc committee has voted to impeach Siaya Deputy Governor William Oduol.
In the report tabled on the house on Monday, the 11-member panel found Oduol guilty of the two allegations he faced. These include gross violation of the constitution and other laws, and gross misconduct and abuse of office.
Six members voted for his impeachment while five were against it.
Subsequently, the matter is before the Senators. Legislators will vote to ratify or reject the committee decision.
