Kenyan footballer Victor Wanyama is facing controversy after an online user shared a manipulated image featuring singer Bahati’s family.
The image, which was photoshopped and shared by @Wesley_Kibande, portrays Bahati, Diana Marua, and their three children.
The intrigue lies in the strategic addition of celebrity faces, with Wanyama’s likeness placed next to Bahati’s adopted son and two other celebrities alongside Bahati’s daughter and son.
Wanyama, who has a son with actress Serah Teshna, expressed his disappointment on Twitter, calling the act foolish and unacceptable.
The incident is not the first time the celebrated Tottenham Hotspurs and Celtic legend has been linked to controversy.
In 2020, Diana Marua clarified a private selfie photo featuring Wanyama and Diana Marua, leading to speculation that she might have a child with the football star.
