The defense hearing of Hon. Oscar Sudi was adjourned to a later date after the court was informed that the trial Magistrate has since been transferred from Milimani Anti-Corruption Court.

Defense counsels representing Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi were today expected to cross-examine the investigating officer who handled Sudi’s forged academic certificates case.

Derrick Kaisha gave his evidence in court in June this year confirming that Sudi forged his papers so that he could secure the nomination to vie for the parliamentary seat in the 2013 General Elections.

He said from the evidence they gathered, Sudi did not sit for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education at Highway Secondary nor did he study at KIMs where he claims to have attained a Diploma in Business Management.

However, the case did not proceed and has been slated to a later date.
