Range Rover burst into flames along the Nairobi Expressway, causing significant traffic disruption during the morning peak hours.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:04 am near the Southern Bypass Entrance B (K13) and the General Motors (GM) area on Mombasa Road.
According to Moja Expressway Company, the luxury SUV developed mechanical problems while in motion, which led to the fire.
Patrol teams from the expressway, working with the Kenya Police Service, safely evacuated all occupants and extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported, although the vehicle was extensively damaged.
Traffic heading toward Mlolongo was briefly disrupted as emergency crews cleared debris from the roadway.
