Ramsey Free To Find Another Club

The most league appearances he ever made was 23 in his debut season, and last season, he only made three appearances

Juventus has announced that Aaron Ramsey has left the club after his formal contract termination.

Since leaving Arsenal on a free transfer in 2019, the Wales midfielder has found it difficult to establish a regular place in the Serie A team’s lineup, appearing in fewer than 50 games over a three-year period.

The most league appearances he ever made was 23 in his debut season, and last season, he only made three appearances in the first few weeks of the season before suffering an injury that kept him out until the new year.

Ramsey spent the final three months of the season on loan at Scottish club Rangers, but his situation did not get any better there either. He played only a few times, and despite helping the Gers reach the Europa League final, he ultimately missed the game-winning penalty in the shootout against Eintracht Frankfurt.

On the international stage, the 31-year-old is still an important member of Rob Page’s team heading into the 2022 World Cup.

Like his countryman Gareth Bale, who switched from Real Madrid to LAFC earlier this summer, his priority now is to find a club that can leave him in the best condition possible before Qatar.
