William Ikutha Maema, a Senior Partner with Iseme, Kamau & Maema Company Advocates was appointed by Attorney General Paul Kihara Kariuki.
Maema, a former lecturer at the University of Nairobi is among the top Intellectual Rights, business engineering, and corporates lawyers in the region.
He was instrumental in the establishment of the EAC Customs Union among other regional trade protocols.
Maema cut his legal teeth at the Hamilton Harison and Mathews legal firm before he was awarded a scholarship to pursue his Master’s Degree in the United Kingdom.
A firm believer in the administration of justice, he is a staunch Roman Catholic and a camera-shy champion of anti-corruption. He has trained several top lawyers in Kenya, including several Judges.
