Ajira Digital is a significant part of the Kenya Digital Masterplan, which aims to construct 24,000 village digital hubs and studios, 1,450 ICT Training Centres in each of the country’s wards, 10 regional ICT and Innovation Centres, and 10 such centres.
Participants from KEPSA, eMobilis Technology Training Institute, Mastercard Foundation, ICT Authority, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, and ICT Ministry have gathered to map out the future of ICT Digital Hubs.
Additionally, the development of the digital skills of 20 million people, including Special Interest Groups, the training of 10,000 public officials in highly specialized ICT fields, the training of 300,000 civil servants in digital skills and data protection, and the training of 350, 000 instructors in digital skills.
