Alice Wahome To Defend Her Seat On UDA ticket

Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome is expected to defend her seat on a UDA ticket in the August 9 general elections.

This comes after her seat failed to attract any other aspirants in the ongoing UDA party primaries.

Earlier, the party’s presidential candidate William Ruto had assured UDA aspirants of a free, fair and credible nomination exercise that would reflect the will of the party members.

The MP who is affiliated to DP Ruto is expected to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta in his backyard after she downplayed reports of plans to have heckles on the president in his Murang’a visit on Thursday for a religious ceremony terming the reports as baseless and untrue.
