Migori County Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary Joseph Olala has issued a warning to political leaders spreading rumours that the party ticket has been reserved for them.
Olala said the party will take the necessary legal action against leaders behind such reports.
He said they will recommend to the top party leadership to disqualify the aspirants going around claiming that they have tickets yet even nominations have not been done.
The county ODM Secretary also stated that all aspirants will battle for the party ticket at the primaries slated for April 16, further urging all members to prepare.
He explained that they want to ensure officers from the ODM party National Elections Board (NEB) come to the ground and issue the certificate at the county level.
He said the ticket will only be issued to the winners, and that those who believe that they can use their resources to influence the outcome of the party’s primaries must think otherwise.
