Seven Kenyans Killed In Early Morning Al Shabaab Attack

Wajir County police commander Hillary Toroitich confirmed the incident and stated that of the 7 people killed, three were locals and four were foreigners from various parts of the nation.

An Al Shabaab attack in Geriley, Somalia, close to the Wajir-Somalia border claimed the lives of 7 Kenyans.

A borehole drilling company was reportedly attacked by Al Shabaab militia on Friday morning at around five in the morning.


Wajir County police commander Hillary Toroitich confirmed the incident and stated that of the 7 people killed, three were locals and four were foreigners from various parts of the nation.

The three locals were buried according to Muslim funeral customs.

The Kenya Defense Forces retrieved the bodies as soon as the attack was over and brought them home.
