Dr. Alfred Mutua, the secretary for foreign affairs, met with Ambassador Christina Diaz Fernandez-Gil of the Spanish Embassy in Kenya to talk about the upcoming Kenya-Spain Joint Business Forum that will take place in Madrid.
The CS expressed optimism that the Business Forum will significantly contribute to the development of business relationships.
According to CS Mutua, Kenya would use the Forum to convey strategic investment opportunities and priorities to Spanish investors.
He disclosed that the Kenyan delegation to the Forum would include significant public and commercial sector groups.
Mutua called attention to the challenges Kenyan students are facing in Spain due to issues acquiring study visas and resident permits, and he asked the Ambassador for urgent aid.
