Kirkovic Michael Daniel, a U.S. national, has been charged with the defilement of a minor.
Kirkovic, who was presented before the Milimani Law Courts Children’s Court in a wheelchair, faces charges under Section 8(1) of the Sexual Offences Act number 3 of 2006.
The prosecution alleges that between August and December 2022, in the Parklands area of Westlands Sub-County, Daniel defiled a 10-year-old girl. He is also accused of committing an indecent act with a child, as outlined by Kenyan law.
Despite the serious allegations, Daniel denied all charges against him. He was granted bail set at Ksh 1 million and was ordered to surrender his passport to the court as the case progresses.
The legal proceedings surrounding this case will continue as the judicial system addresses these grave accusations.
