Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has been discharged from a hospital in Nigeria, where he was recovering from a car crash that killed two of his close friends and team members.
The 36-year-old British boxer was a passenger in a Lexus SUV that collided with a stationary truck on Monday on a major expressway in Ogun State, near Lagos.

The victims were identified as Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, described as close friends and members of Joshua’s team. Authorities from Ogun and Lagos states issued a joint statement confirming Joshua’s release, noting he was deemed fit to recuperate at home and was “heavy hearted” over the loss.
