Anti-riot police have been put on standby to act in case of chaos following yesterday’s incident where a police officer shot dead six people before dying by suicide.
Police say they fear locals may disrupt operations on major roads near Kangemi area hence the move to be ready for any action.
Constable Benson Imbatu shot dead his wife Carol and five other locals before he committed suicide in Kabete area.
Police have since indicated the incident was out of a love triangle issue.
The incident sparked protests in the area yesterday before anti-riot police were called to contain the situation.
