Antony Moves Into Pogba’s Mansion

Manchester United star Antony has moved into Paul Pogba’s old home.

The 22-year-old scored on his debut in a 3-1 victory over Arsenal last month after joining the Red Devils from Ajax for £86 million in the summer.

In the Europa League games against Real Sociedad and Sheriff, he also made an appearance, but he was unsuccessful in scoring.

Even though the Brazilian has only started two games, United supporters seem to be warming up to him, and he is quickly becoming a fan favorite.

He is their second-most expensive acquisition after Pogba and just in front of Harry Maguire, who joined from Leicester for £80 million.

Speaking to ESPN, Antony said: “I’ll need to change. It was Pogba’s house, there’s the P of his stuff on the table. Now I’m going to start changing, put Antony Santos’ AS.”

Referencing Pogba’s departure from Old Trafford, he then joked: “He’s not here anymore, right?” There is also a small area to play football made up of synthetic grass, which contains an electronic scoreboard and LED lighting. The £3m property also boasts a gym, heated swimming pool and a sauna – all key features as Antony looks to keep his fitness up.

Since Erik ten Hag joined United from Ajax, Antony has had a significant impact in his brief time at Old Trafford.

It was a move he had always wanted to make. Antony acknowledged that his desire to bring a similar level of success to Old Trafford is the driving force behind his decision to join the Red Devils back in August.
