Archbishop Anthony Muheria of the Archdiocese of Nyeri has called on Christians to embrace peace, love and renewal as they celebrate Easter.
In his Easter message, Muheria reflected on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, describing it as a moment that represents victory over sin, evil and death. He noted that the risen Christ greeted his disciples with a message of peace, urging believers to carry the same message in their daily lives.
The Archbishop said the resurrection continues to offer hope and reassurance, encouraging Christians to seek lasting peace through faith and a deeper relationship with God.
He called on the faithful to reflect this message through their actions, urging them to promote love, forgiveness and unity within families and society.

Muheria also encouraged believers to support those facing difficulties, noting that acts of compassion and kindness are central to living out the Christian faith.
He concluded by wishing Christians a blessed and peaceful Easter, urging them to remain committed to values that promote harmony and positive transformation in society.
