The Archbishop of the African Brotherhood Churches in East and Central Africa, His Grace Timothy Ndambuki, has said that he desires Machakos County to be led by God-fearing leaders and good managers of the people’s resources.
Speaking at the ABC Church National Music Festivals, held at Masii High School, Archbishop Ndambuki said that he is impressed by Waita’s ability and record as a prudent manager and an outstanding administrator.
The Archbishop added that Nzioka’s running mate Speaker Florence Mwangangi is a visionary leader who partnered with the church leadership of the three counties of Kitui, Machakos and Makueni to bring the South Eastern Kenya Economic block (SEKEB) into reality, which he said is very important for the economic prosperity of Lower Eastern region.
Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Nzioka Waita has disclosed that he sought the blessings of His Grace Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki before he began his quest for the Governorship of Machakos.

“Archbishop Ndambuki cautioned me to be purposeful in my endeavor to be the Governor of Machakos”, Nzioka disclosed, before saying that he will ensure that public participation also happens through the church in Machakos.
Waita said that no part of Machakos will be left behind in the development process under his governance of the county.
He expressed his disappointment with the state of affairs where many people in various parts of the county lack water, good roads, healthcare facilities, and more.
On her part, Waita’s running mate, Hon. Speaker of Machakos Florence Mwangangi said that time has come for Machakos to experience real change.
Waita reiterated his plan to lay reticulation from Masinga dam that will provide adequate water to the three sub-counties of Mwala, Yatta, and Masinga.
He expressed his deep faith in God’s love for the county and that progress will be made in Machakos even as he sought the people’s support for his candidature.
