At Least Five Killed After Mexican Navy Plane Crashes in Texas, US.

At least five people have been killed after a Mexican Navy aircraft crashed in waters off the US state of Texas while carrying out a medical transfer according to Navy.

Through Mexican Navy Secretariat, eight people were traveling aboard the aircraft, which was on a humanitarian mission.

Two people survived the crash while five others died.

The Secretariat has confirmed that One person is still missing, despite search efforts by the US Coast Guard

The aircraft accident occurred as it was approaching Galveston, Texas.

According to the flight tracking website, Flight Radar, the plane took off from Merida in Mexico’s Yucatan state at 18:46 GMT and was last recorded at 21:01 GMT over Galveston Bay, near Scholes International Airport.
