The Attorney General has withdrawn the BBI ruling stay application at the High Court.
In a move that ellicited confusion, AG Paul Kihara withdrew the appeal, for it was filed at the wrong court.
The government’s counsel will seek the same relief at the Court of Appeal.
Kihara had filed stay orders at the High Court on Friday last week, requesting that the verdict declaring the BBI amendment bill null and unlawful be put on hold.
