Azimio, Kenya Kwanza Teams mill Bomas As Chebukati Time Lapses

By 9 a.m., both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza's seats in the auditorium were full.

The five-day verification of results forms concluded on Monday, with the IEBC expected to announce the results of the August 9 elections.

On Monday morning, the 15 verification tables at the Bomas of Kenya were empty.

Only a few tables are occupied, with clerks conversing in low tones after completing paperwork.

By 9 a.m., both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza’s seats in the auditorium were full.

Foreign envoys and ambassadors were also seated as early as 8.30 a.m., indicating that a declaration could be made today.

Security personnel are also stationed throughout the auditorium, surrounding areas, and at the main gate.

Kenya Kwanza and Azimio are both present at the venue, waiting for the big announcement by IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati.
