According to Azimio la Umoja spokesperson Makau Mutua, the vehicle carrying Azimio Leader Raila Odinga around Nairobi for anti-government protests was hit.
While Mutua did not specify where or how the incident occurred, he did post a photo of a broken windscreen.
“We are now under direct attack by water cannon trucks and tear gas. Our windscreen has been badly damaged. A bullet has hit the vehicle in which Raila Odinga and are riding,” Mutua said in via Twitter.
Raila’s team is currently making a lap around Nairobi’s outskirts in an attempt to gain access to the CBD.
