Azimio la Umoja presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga will hold his mega final rally on August 6 at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi to conclude his ongoing presidential campaigns.
According to a press statement issued on Tuesday, July 19, and signed by the Secretary General of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, Junet Mohammed, the Azimio team thanked all Kenyans who showed up in their millions across the country at meetings, rallies, and in person to join in the historic journey to a fair, just, prosperous, and inclusive nation.
“The Azimio campaign team, led by #babanamartha, will hold its last official campaign meeting in Nairobi on 6th August 2022 at Nyayo Stadium. #Inawezekana,” Junet said.
Raila’s rally will come a day after the final one by his main opponent William Ruto, who is expected to hold his at the Kamukunji Grounds on August 5, as has been confirmed by his Head of Presidential Campaigns and Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok.
“The rally is going to be a dress rehearsal for the swearing-in ceremony of our presidential candidate because we are confident he is going to win,” Nanok, formerly a Raila ally, is quoted.
