Dj Evolve has defended Embakasi MP Babu Owino claiming he did not see him with a gun.
The Dj appearing on a virtual platform to testify in the case told SPM Bernard Ochoi that he did not see his long-time friend Babu Owino whom they were having a conversation, shoot him.
“Did you see Babu Owino with a gun?” Defence lawyer Duncan Okatch asked DJ Evolve.
“I did not see where the gunshot came from. As I was having a conversation with Babu Owino. I just found myself in an ambulance heading to the hospital.” Said Dj Evolve who was in a bed.
Asked whether Babu Owino’s act of helping him settle his hospital bill and support him financially caught him by surprise, the DJ said that he would expect his friend to treat him as such.
“I came to find out that Babu Owino was supporting me and as a friend I expected my friends to look after me.”
“I received medical care…my utilities and general well-being was taken care of…I’m giving out this testimony voluntarily,” he added.
