Bad Bunny Says He Left U.S. Off 2025–26 World Tour Because of ICE Raids

Bad Bunny has explained why the United States is absent from his 2025–26 “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” World Tour, saying immigration enforcement concerns played a role in the decision.

Speaking to I-D Magazine, the Puerto Rican superstar said he worried that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could target his fans outside venues.

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate,” he said.

“I’ve performed there many times. All of [the shows] have been successful. But … like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

Bad Bunny noted that his residency in Puerto Rico, an unincorporated U.S. territory, offers fans a way to see him perform without adding mainland U.S. stops.

“People from the U.S. could come here to see the show,” he added. “Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world.”

The artist previously drew attention when he told Variety in June that American tour dates felt “unnecessary,” given that U.S. fans have had ample opportunities to see him over the past six years. His last major U.S. tour, “Most Wanted,” sold out arenas across the country in 2024.

Bad Bunny has also been outspoken on ICE practices. In June, he shared footage on social media appearing to show an ICE raid in Pontezuela, Puerto Rico, where people were detained in the street. “Look, those mother****s are in these cars, RAV-4s,” he said in the clip.

“They’re here in Pontezuela. Sons of b***es, instead of leaving the people alone and working there.”

His decision to bypass the U.S. comes at a time when immigration enforcement remains a flashpoint issue in the country, particularly under the Trump administration’s renewed crackdown on undocumented immigrants.

While his move may disappoint some American fans, Bad Bunny emphasized his affection for U.S. audiences and framed the decision as both practical and protective.
