Bandari Fc AppointS Kibwana As New Chief Executive

Tony Kibwana has been appointed as the new Bandari FC Chief Executive in an acting capacity, according to the FKF Premier League club’s vice-chairman Twaha Mbarak.

Kibwana, a former footballer who is also the Head of Security at the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), succeeds Hajj Masemo.

Mbaraka stated that the handover ceremony was presided over by KPA Board of Directors chairman Benjamin Tayari at the KPA offices in Mombasa.

“Tony is replacing Masemo who is unwell and we wish him quick recovery. We have full confidence in Kibwana and tell our fans that they should support the management as we want to improve player welfare and results of the team,” Twaha said.

Bandari are 12th in the league standings with ten points, nine points behind league leaders Posta Rangers, and Twaha is confident that the latest change in leadership will keep the ship afloat.

“We plead with our fans to show up in large numbers for today’s match against Kenya Police Fc and also for Sunday’s match against Shabana Fc because their strength is also very important in this process of trying to improve our results in the league,” Twaha added.
