The Ministry of Health has lamented the reluctance of Kenyans to the spread of the Coronavirus.
Health CS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi cautioned Kenyans against flouting Government regulations, attributing the rise in cases to negligence.
25 Kenyans from 1,112 samples tested positive for the coronavirus bringing the tally of positive cases to 490.
The new infections, all from Kenya, are distributed in Mombasa and Nairobi counties, reporting 10 and 15 cases respectively.
In Nairobi, Kariobangi South recorded the highest number at 10, and 8 Cases reported in Eastleigh. Kawangware and Umoja estates reported 2 cases, while Mathare, and Kahawa west recorded 1 case each.
In Mombasa, the heavily congested Old Town area reported 8 new cases, while Bombolulu and Jomvu each reported 1 case each.
