The airline industry has arguably suffered the biggest brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic. -By Gerald Gekara.

As the outbreak has persisted for almost a full year, carriers, such as United Airlines, have continually sought financial help from the government and executed numerous rounds of layoffs and furloughs.

As a result, several airlines that have not been flexible to the strict restrictions have been forced to ground their Billion dollar supersonic monsters to cut on operational costs.
