Bipartisan Talks Suspended After Keynan-Pkosing Standoff

The fate of bipartisan talks to end the country’s political crisis is now in doubt after President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza and Raila Odinga’s Azimio disagreed on the composition of the team, among other issues.

The inclusion of Adan Keynan and David Pkosing on the bipartisan committee has been a source of contention between the two teams.

The Azimio side claims the talks have been suspended, while Kenya Kwanza claims they have only been adjourned.

President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza camp had expressed concern that Pkosing should not be included in the dialogue team to represent the Azimio camp, claiming that he is on the government side.
