The second Nairobi senator further appealed to his supporters to support Bishop Wanjiru for the senate seat given that they are now members of one team.

“The most important thing now is to keep in mind that we are one team. I want to urge my supporters to now rally behind Bishop Wanjiru, who was sacrificed so much for us, and back her senate bid.”

Karen Nyamu also stepped down in her senatorial bid and will now support Bishop Wanjiru’s senate bid.

Wanjiru lauded Nyamu, Gospel singer Smith Mwatia, alias Rufftone, and others who sacrificed their bid for her

“Without you, I will not have found a space where I would say I am vying for senate seat.”

She also used the opportunity to ask Nairobi residents to rally behind Kenyan Kwanza Alliance presidential aspirant William Ruto.
