Bob Collymore Wife Gets Nod To Share 287 Million Property

Former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore’s widow, Wambui Kamiru Collymore, has been allowed permission to administer his property by the High Court.

Former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore and his wife Wambui Kamiru have been given permission by the court to manage and distribute Bob’s millions. Wambui Kamiru was first banned from managing her husband’s large inheritance until his two children in the United Kingdom gave their consent.

In court records dated July 29, Justice Maureen Odero gave the widow permission to manage the estate and distribute assets and money in accordance with Collymore’s will.

Process of Succession

Collymore left two wills, one in Kenya and the other unpublished outside the nation.

The wills were to take effect simultaneously and independently of one another.Wishes contained in the first will suggest Wambui would inherit all of the tycoon’s money in Kenya before his death, estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of shillings.

Collymore’s children from his former marriage, James Collymore and Sarah Collymore, were required to affirm that they were not opposed to their father’s will as part of the Kenyan succession procedure.

Collymore’s net worth The late Collymore reported his Kenyan wealth in 2015, with assets totaling KSh 287 million.
