An unidentified man’s body has been found floating in the Indian Ocean near English Point Mkomani in Nyali, Mombasa County.
Officers from the county government’s rescue and fire department recovered the body and handed it over to police.
The department’s head officer, Ibrahim Basafar, said that the body had been identified by those who were present at the scene earlier today.
As of now, the man’s identity remains unknown, and a call has been made for anyone who may have lost a relative or a friend to report to police.
The body has been taken to Coast General Hospital mortuary.
