Isaac Ruto, a candidate for governor in Bomet, has been flown to Nairobi for specialized treatment after experiencing a health issue.
He is now being treated in a hospital in Nairobi, and the SG of his party, CCM, now claims that he is making progress toward recovery.
“He has been unwell for the past one week due to acute flu which necessitated immediate evacuation from Bomet for thorough medical attention. We regret that he is not able to be with his supporters during this crucial moment of vote counting, he wishes to assure us that he will be back soon.”
