France has entered into a partnership with the Kenyan government to boost composite sporting activities including Bottom Up Grassroot Football.
Ababu Namwamba, the Cabinet Secretary of Sports, and H.E. Olivier Becht, the French minister for foreign trade, and the French Nationals Aboard, signed a declaration of intent today that will pave the way for the creation of a composite sports and arts infrastructure in Kenya.
In order to prepare for the Bottom-Up Grassroots Football competition, Namwamba urged the minister to offer greater assistance, particularly in the coaching and training of under-19 boys and girls.
The CS asked the French team to work with his ministry to help the ministry’s flagship Talanta Hela initiative, which attempts to monetize sports and the creative arts in order to commercialize the sports and creative arts industry. Arnaud Suquet, the ambassador of France to Kenya, was in attendance.
