Breathe Normal – Junet Asks Linturi As He Explains 35 Court Cases

Suna East MP Junet Muhamed cracked up Members of Parliament on Friday when he asked Cabinet Secretary nominee Mithika Linturi to “breathe normal and calm his nerves”.

Linturi was answering questions about his 35 pending court cases, including an attempted rape charge.

Junet expressed concern that the Agriculture CS nominee might be breathing too loudly due to nervousness.

“I’m sitting next to the nominee and I’m requesting so that we do not go into a serious health crisis, tell him to breathe normal he looks nervous,” Junet said.

“No, I’m not nervous. How would I be nervous, these are my colleagues we have been around together for a very long time,” Linturi replied.
