Leicester City have parted ways with Brendan Rodgers by mutual consent after a run of six Premier League games without a win left them in the relegation zone.
A 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in which City were second best throughout has proven to be the final straw for Rodgers, the club slipping to 18th with just 10 matches to go.
They have taken just one point from their last possible 18 and have the worst record in the division since the World Cup.
Rodgers has now left by mutual consent, the club announced in a statement on Sunday afternoon. Assistant manager Chris Davies and first-team fitness coach Glen Driscoll, who joined the club with Rodgers from Celtic, have also departed.
First-team coach Adam Sadler and goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell will take over the team with immediate effect ahead of the clash with Aston Villa on Tuesday.
