Bretman Rock confirmed his separation from boyfriend Justice Fester, adding that it was a “mutual decision” and that they remain “good friends.”
In a clip posted on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Rock addressed the breakup, explaining that if he and Fester are meant to be together, “they will find each other again.”
“Since a lot of you have been asking in the comments and in the DMs where Justice is, I just wanted to quickly address that we are no longer together. It was a mutual breakup… We are still friends, we still have love for each other, and I do believe that if we’re truly meant for each other, then we will find each other again,” he said.
The Filipino-American influencer noted that the separation is something “they need to do for their mental health” and requested time for privacy.
“If there’s anything I ask, I would just ask for some privacy, some time to process everything. Please don’t point fingers at anybody. This was truly just two adults who came to the conclusion that this isn’t something we want to do, but it’s something we need to do for our mental health,” he explained.
Rock and Fester celebrated their anniversary last May. The content creator officially introduced Fester to the public through a series of affectionate social media posts in June 2024.
The couple first met in 2018 at a club, an encounter Rock described as “the right person, wrong time.” Years later, they reconnected, leading them to pursue a relationship.
In February of this year, Fester surprised Rock with a bouquet of Sonny Angels for Valentine’s Day. The pair also recently visited Bohol together.
