Bullying affected my life Tahidi High star OJ recounts

Dennis Mugo recounts how he was bullied in secondary school an incident that taught him to handle pain even though it affected his learning and sleeping patterns

In an interview with Dr.Kingori he opened up about being bullied and he was forced to sing a lullaby song to a form four student almost every night at Nakuru High School.

He also talked about his role on Tahidi High where he played a guy from the slums trying to fit in a good school. He in turn was the bully in the TV series.

The song he sung to his bully was derived from the book ‘shamba la wanyama ‘.

“when joining high school I realized that a number of candidates  were arrogant .thus I resorted to making friends with one who seemed to appear calm and outgoing .he also noted that his  friend was keen on passing his KCSE exams . So he devised a strategy that would help him remember contents of the set book. I used to sing him that song on most nights at around 2 am and I would do it for hours

OJ was past the ordeal and even had lunch with that guy. The problem with people is that they tend to hold on to the past and end up wanting revenge even when they are already grown up.

Bullying is never allowed anywhere but if it does happens parents should help their kids go to therapy to get over the ordeal

In 2018 Uhuru Kenyatta signed into law the computer and cybercrimes bill: individuals publishing false, misleading or fictitious data shall, on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding 5 million or imprisonment of two years or both.

Bullying is categorized into four verbal which involves insults, cyberbullying entails attacking an individual over the internet and while social involves spreading rumors and lies about someone
