Bungoma Goliath Isaac Wekesa Lands A Job After Being Rescued From The Streets

Bungoma Goliath has landed a job hours after being found stranded on the streets of Nairobi.

Goliath wa Bungoma, whose real name is Isaac Otewa, has been offered a bouncer job at Club Ibiza.

He landed the job after the intervention of the Nairobi County Environment Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria. Mosiria came to his rescue when he was stuck on the streets of Nairobi with nowhere to sleep.

“Uyu jamaa jana venye nilimtoa kwa street alisema hataki kuenda home, hataki kurudi  (when I got this guy from the street he said he does not want to home). So, what I’ve done nimemleta kwa hii club inaitwa Ibiza na director amekubali atampatia kazi kwa mlango(I brought him to this club called Ibiza and the director has agreed to give him a job as a bouncer),” said Mosiria.

The Director of Ibiza Club confirmed that he has offered Bungoma Goliath a job and said that the club will be pleased to work with him.

Goliath wa Bungoma had been stranded on the street after coming from an interview on Obinna Show Live. He then contacted Mosiria several times to ask for help.

“Nimeona missed calls zake kadhaa, so nikasema nicall back, akaniambia niko stranded tao, unajua ukiona mwanaume akisema ivo labda ni ukweli na nikakuja kumuona, nkakuta ni ukweli (I saw many of his missed calls, so I called back, and he told me that he is stranded, I came here to see him and indeed found that he is stranded),” said the county official.

When asked how he wanted to be helped, Goliath wa Bungoma said he just wanted a place to spend the night as he would travel to Bungoma the following day.

“Ningeomba tu mtu anisaidie na fare ya kufika Bungoma, shilingi mia tano( I would like to ask for well-wishers to give me fare to at least get to Bungoma, the fare is Ksh.500),” added Isaac.

Mosiria had promised to facilitate him to get to Bungoma before taking him to a lodging, to spend the night. He also told him that he would try to get him a job as a watchman or a bouncer for a club.
