Bus Burnt After Tout Throws Passenger Out Due To Lack Of Ksh20 Fare

    Irate residents allegedly set fire to an Embassava Sacco bus on Wednesday, May 17, after its conductor was accused of throwing out a passenger along Outering Road.

    According to reports, the scuffle erupted after the 17-year-old ran out of fare by Ksh20, prompting an argument with the tout.

    As a result, the conductor allegedly threw and pushed out the passenger, who died as a result of the crash’s impact.

    Angered by the turn of events, onlookers and passers-by rushed to the bus, baying for the conductor’s blood.

    According to reports, the conductor escaped the mob, leaving behind the bus, which the enraged residents set ablaze.

    The scuffle caused a traffic jam on Outering Road, with motorists complaining about spending hours stuck behind the wheel. Officers from the traffic police department rushed to the scene to restore law and order.
